Global Young Innovators Initiative
Tesla Joint Hands Communication
The members of our group, Abby, Cricket, Tyler, Alyse, and Patrick, are all passionate and internationally minded individuals who are dedicated to improving the living standards of our global community. This week we will be helping a Nigerian computer repair business to flourish and expand, while creating a stronger future for the business as well as the surrounding community. We will do this by applying our accumulated knowledge to solve various problems that affect the business, ranging from technical issues, to marketing techniques.
Our goal is to expand Mohammed’s business so that he can increase his employment, open one or two more branches (such as a mobile phone repair), and become significantly better equipped to solve technical issues in the community within a year.
We will solve technical issues through research, as well as the help of experts around us, and we will translate those into Nigerian solutions. For example, we will create an effective plan to reduce the amount of processor failures in Mohammed’s community based on the vast amount of resources available to us.
We will help Mohammed to expand his marketing by providing innovative and useful marketing techniques, ranging from online media to physical posters, slogans and logos. This will bring in more customers for Mohammed and create a solid reputation for his business in a rapidly expanding community.
We will help Mohammed create a difference in his community by encouraging younger members to learn about computers, creating lots of human capital. Specific ideas that could accomplish this could be creating interactive computer activities, such as computer gaming tournaments, which would help to bring the community together and motivate children to learn more about computers.
To conclude, our main goal is to help Mohammed help his community.
See how each day at the summit we are gaining new skills to assist our business partner and transform lives.
