Our mission is to empower communities across the globe. With all our effort we will extend a helping hand in promoting and improving the current status of the living state not only for our business partner but also for his community, state, and country. Our undivided attention will be devoted to our partner’s tiling company to expand his customer base and profits.
We plan to accomplish this goal by increasing advertisement within the community as well as surrounding communities by bringing a name and logo to the company. The purpose being to generate enough profits so that more jobs can be created and more people can work.
By expanding, our partner is able to train more employees who may then go on to open their own businesses which provides stable incomes to more and more people in the community. This thus increases the education that is available to the younger generations; increasing the literacy rate and the quality of life.

Story of the Business:
Muhammad installs floor tiles, kitchen tiles, and bathroom tiles in new homes. Based on budget and client preference, Muhammad uses many unique designs for his customers to ensure that they are satisfied with his work; his designs have earned him a strong reputation within his community, bringing in more business with each passing day. Moreover, Muhammad has many special offers and discounts for his clients, allowing them to receive high quality tiling for a lower cost. Muhammad dove into the tile business after two years of working under another contractor. He diligently learned the proper installation techniques and developed his own, giving him a competing edge over his competition. Muhammad’s preparation and patience has helped him create a successful business that has grown significantly over the last five years. In the coming years, Ibrahim looks to expand his services a greater number of clients.
Muhammad also is married and has three children; his business has given him the means to provide his children with a strong education and a better future.
Muhammad’s designs have helped him become a star within his community. However, his more significant impacts lie in job creation.Muhammad’s business employs four hard working individuals, providing them with a stable income and hands on vocational training. Ibrahim strives to grow his business so that he can hire more employees and give them a chance at a better future.

And Changing The World
Throughout this week we worked closely with Muhammad Sultan and his tiling business, it had few problems the most important being the lack of advertising and the lack of any financial management. Muhammad is well known in his community for quality work but he has a lot of competition and without any advertising the average customer doesn’t know the difference between his business and some guy who just lays tiles. At the moment Muhammad also doesn’t have a system where he can track his income, expenses, and profits. These are the problems we addressed through our solutions starting with the lack of advertising. Muhammad’s only source of advertising right now is by word of mouth, this severely limits the amount of publicity and customers that he receives. We solved this by created a name, a flyer, and a business card. The flyers will be distributed at public places like bus stops and tile shops and the business cards will be distributed at tile shops to people who just bought tiles and need them installed. We also thought of a referral system where he would partner with a single tile shop that he sends all his customers to and the tile shop would send all their customers to him, this results in more business for both businesses. We also thought of some ways to solve his financial management issue.
Muhammad did not keep track of profits and did not have a consistent payment plan. Sultan’s aspirations were to create a payment plan as well as increase his profit. We came up with a financial spreadsheet to help MS Tiling keep track of all money movement within the business. We also helped Muhammad come up with an early payment plan. If customers pay all of the money upfront they receive a reward.
These solutions can help Muhammad Sultan’s business become more successful so he can provide for his family and help out in the community
