How We Are Transforming Soap/Detergent Production Business
And Changing The World
After meeting with our friendly and hardworking business owner, we had a better understanding of the challenges that she was/is facing. She would like to have a professional brand but at the first moment of encounter she didn’t have a name and logo along which she agreed was the most important part of solution to our brand with a more effective way of advertising. In addition, she also needs a sustainable way to collect water bottles as her soap container.
Collectively, our team created a solution consisting of three components. We describe and designed a logo using her favorite color blue, and the outline of Nigeria, which shows her support of her community and the goal to expand the brand to greater heights than MHz it’s ever been. After learning about background information of Nigeria, we used business cards and flyers as a method to spread the brand. Through the multiple Skype calls we had this week, they allowed us to grasp a physical image on what our owner wanted since she didn’t want to collaborate with any other business’s. So after figuring out what she wanted as well as needed for her business to function smoothly we decided to start making the brand more personal to her by looping the names of her children into the name of the Brand.
The main problem of her business was it was a blank canvas within the first encounter, but in some ways it was a good thing also because she was willing to listen to all ideas to succeed in business. Her brand was incognito so for us to solve this problem we must turn this unknown brand into a well-known brand by promoting. Such as having discounts as well as, ads and flyers to be passed around and hung up for exposure around her community because in her area soap making is actually a very competitive business many of her friends and neighbors are in the business, which means already that standing out must be our strong suit to accomplish the mission we have set to help promote business.
