Global Young Innovators Initiative
Muhammad Shehu, an irrigation farmer in Wuro Guggo, Nigeria, is an essential figure in his local community. His produce provides fresh and healthy food for not only his friends and family, but the rest of his community as well. Currently, Muhammad has three main business problems: lack of branding and marketing, the inability to reuse and refertilize soil, and the inconsistent timing of his tomato harvest. Because of these problems, he is unable to sell the maximum amount of product.
After our collaboration, our team has created a solution for his main two problems, nutrient deficient soil and tomato harvesting. We have also developed ideas for branding and promotion. Working with Muhammad has been an incredible experience and we are so grateful for everything we have learned.
See how each day at the summit we are gaining new skills to assist our business partner and transform lives.
