Global Young Innovators Initiative
Galilei Homemade/Local Fragrance Making Business Team
As young scholars looking for opportunities to transform the world, we seek to improve the unequal parameters that exist on our globe. The nations of this earth could exist with harmony, if only the futures of success are secured universally. Our responsibility is to help our peers, no matter which continent. Countries such as Nigeria, whose population is only 30% above the poverty line, is a country that is in dire need of successful futures.
One of our core values, persistence, is used to help promote education, a way that the new generation of Nigerians can learn to secure a successful future. By pairing up with local business leaders, we can help expand markets to fund the scholarly lives of young, creative minds. By breaking through the language barrier, we as young innovators, can prevail through the fray and assist our peers in need of new enlightenment.
Thus, being leaders of the new generation, we strive to improve society for the better, through perseverance and determination.
See how each day at the summit we are gaining new skills to assist our business partner and transform lives.

Story of the business
Bilkisu is a twenty year old woman, who just finished her final exams in secondary school. After graduating, Bilkisu decided to use her experience with perfumes and open up a business; she has been more successful than she anticipated, prompting her to continue expanding her business. With the revenue from her business, Bilkisu is able to support her family while being able to provide for herself.
Fragrances are usually very costly, making it an exclusive commodity. Bilkisu sells her fragrances at subsidized prices in order to let everyone have access to her products. This strategy has made Bilkisu a favorite within her community. Moreover, she also hopes to expand her business so that she will be able to hire more employees and provide them with a stable income and a better future.
