Abingdon High School
International Business Alliance Program
Our goal is to not only help change the lives of people on the other side of the planet, but to also inspire those closest to us. As a team we want to develop solutions for and communicate effectively with our business partner, and to all the while keep our own hometown aware of the differences that can be made for someone thousands of miles away. We will work collaboratively to establish creative, innovative ideas for business expansion and for local fundraising; we will learn more about each other as individuals and as leaders in our close-knit team of partners and friends. Above all, our team will work to the absolute best of our ability to produce efficient business results, and to then watch a company and a life progress in ways that neither us nor our partner could ever have anticipated.

Story of the Business:
Rabi graduated from secondary school 3 years ago and decided to learn how to make some pasteries from her elder sister instead of just sitiing at home idle. She wnted to learn these to make some income for herself and make the best use of her time while waiting for admission into school. Since then Rabi has been baking meat pie and donuts and sometimes cakes for various events. Rabi is the last born of her family. She lives with her parents and has 4 elder ones. She has always enjoyed being handy so, learning how to bake came to her easily. She is excited at teh opportunity of a future in catering and is glad that Leadership Initiatives will help make this happen for her.
Rabi see this as an opportunity to rprovide exceptional services for the people of her local community. And possibly train some young ladies in the future.
