International Business Alliance Program
Working with the International Business Alliance Program, we will help a local rising business in Nigeria, in our case we’ll be working with Ms. Deborah Obalohun to better her restaurant business. As a group, our mission is to be able to effectively impact Deborah, her family and her staff’s life. During the time invested in the program our goal is to provide practical solutions to the problems facing her restaurant. We will complete these tasks through creativity, effort and responsibility. We are committed to use our own experiences and knowledge to obtain the best results possible. We also want to be an example for our community, and to carry a message to the new generation, that if you have the desire to help and impact someone’s life, it is all possible, even if they are in the other side of the world . With determination and enthusiasm we can motivate ourselves to help the world and learn about different cultures. Together we can create a better and more successful society, one business at a time.

Story of the Business:
Deborah has always been a great cook and has always been told so by many. She loves cooking and has always helped friends and family to cook during birthday or wedding celebrations. She seeks to turn this into a profit making business for herself. She looks forward to the adventure of owning her own business and bringing more income home for her children. Deborah has been a widow for over 10 years now. Life has been difficult for her and her 5 children who she has struggled to ensure all get an education. The difficulties they face has been due to a lack of adequate financial income for her to meet their daily needs. Her meagre teacher’s salary does very little for her and thus her desire to own a restaurant to help her and her children with the rising cost of living. She is very excited at the opportunity presented to her with Leadership Initiatives.
Deborah has always been a generous person even though she has so little. She looks forward to providing exceptional services to the people of her local community and even employing as many as she needs and she can help to be a part of her business.
