It is our objective to offer insight to the Nigerian Car Mechanic Industry so they can independently achieve their business goals and further the welfare of the community.
By solving these problems, the community around Fa’sil will also improve. It is our goal to impact those around us in a meaningful and beneficial way. We humbly and enthusiastically embrace all of the challenges and experiences the Global Young Innovators Initiative offers.

Story of the business:
Faisal applied to become part of Leadership Initiatives’ Business Creation Program where he learned how to own and operate a business and received additional training on how to repair automobiles. He bought the basic tools needed for his start up with N16,000 (about $99) with money he had saved from working over 11 years and from his first community investor (his mother) who gave him an additional N4,000 (about $25) she had saved up. Over the past two years Faisal has grown as a business owner and worked to build and expand his business. In 2014 Faisal joined Leadership Initiatives’ Expansion Program. He will now open up a mobile car mechanic site and over the course of the year will employ 15 people from ages 12 years- 26 years.
Faisal’s auto repair business offers repair services to most automobile problems, giving his community members a local, affordable and trusted repair shop. Because of these local, low cost services, community members who could not afford to have their vehicles towed 20 plus miles or pay their higher rates can now have functioning cars and trucks.
The impact on community members who can now take their family members to hospitals when needed, travel farther for work, food and home goods is incalculable.
Faisal and his employees are able to send their children to school, and care for several orphans.
Faisal has become a community leader, training multiple adults and youths in automotive repair so they one day can open up their own shops or work for shops across the state
