The world, as we see it, should be constantly advancing and evolving. In the near future we hope to see changes toward less violence and more peace between races and nations. We hope to see increasing equality, and empowerment for minorities, especially women, in the world. We hope to see developing countries in developing continents stabilizing and taking more prevalent positions on the global political and economic scene. We, as a team, are excited willing to be able to effect change in the developing world through a partnership with an incredible upcoming business in the Birshi Village, Bauchi State, Nigeria. We are excited to be working with Maria Yakabu, owner and entrepreneur of Maslaha Beauty Salon, to help develop effective and efficient business solutions.
Currently Maslaha Beauty Salon is flourishing and developing in the community. Maria currently has one store with four employees working under her direction. With the capacity of ten customers a day, the profits made by the salon is used directly to benefit 18 people including the families and children of the employees. 8 children of employees of the salon are attending school which is being paid for by the profit from the salon. Maria has become an incredibly empowering figure for women in her community as she has continued to grow her business. Our team is excited to be able to help Maria and Maslaha salon expand even further, employ more people and to continue to help her community develop socially and economically.
Maslaha Salon and Maria have all the qualities of an amazing budding business. We pledge our time, our commitment and our diligence to the progression of this Salon. We will work to expand Maslaha Beauty Salon, help employees earn money for their children’s school, and help Maria in anyway possible. The salon already directly benefits 18 people. We would like to try to assist even more people by expanding upon Maria’s already incredibly successful work. We are excited to begin helping Maria and her community.
