International Business Alliance Program
It is our mission as the Jersey City Chapter of the International Business Alliance Program to bring about global change, beginning with Umar Muh’d Lawan’s Plaster of Paris business in Bauchi, Bauchi State Nigeria. Because his business can fix problems that could potentially make the houses unlivable, is affordable, and empowers the youth, Plaster of Paris has become a great asset to Umar’s community. Our goal as his partner is to help him achieve his business objectives so that more people can benefit from Plaster of Paris.
We firmly believe that Plaster of Paris can and will grow with the right dedication and support. Over the course of the next 9 months, we intend to not only work with Umar, but also form a relationship while contributing our time and talents to help solve his business problems. We will dedicate time to research, understand, and provide all that we can for Plaster of Paris.
Our team is honored to have been chosen for this opportunity to both help another and grow individually. As members of the International Business Alliance Program, we have been given a chance to not only learn about, but also experience business and discover a whole new culture. We look forward to being a part of the International Business Alliance Program and working with Leadership Initiatives. Moreover, we are thrilled to spend the next 9 months getting to know Umar, his business, and his community, and contribute all that we can to help them all prosper and thrive.
