Elizabeth has received community funding to expand her mobile textile shop and has now set out to create new ways to grow her business and new methods of retail for her textiles provided by her International Business Alliance Program partners.
Elizabeth and her employees will begin this fall by sending 4 children to school because of the profits made from this business!!!

Personal Story of Felicia Abba, an employee of KT Textile & Dwelries:
Felicia started working with Elizabeth in 2013 after she obtained her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Science Laboratory Technology at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi.
Felicia’s parents work in the fishing business and she initially picked up her interest in business at home, but she wanted to do something different, which led to her employment in textile.
Personal Story of Mary John, a child attending school because of KT Textile & Dwelries support
Mary is 20 years old and is the youngest of the four, and she is currently pursuing her Degree in Electrical and Electronics at Bayero University Kano.
Due to financial strain in the family, Elizabeth contributes financially to Mary’s education.
Mary also helps Elizabeth sell textile during holidays. She is inspired by Elizabeth’s financial independence and self-reliance.
Personal Story of Georgegina Benjin, a KT Textile & Dwelries Customer
Georgegina is Elizabeth’s friend, and is also a student.
She is one of the key people who encouraged her to start the business. In addition to being a loyal customer, she recommends friends to purchase fabric from Elizabeth’s store and advises her on the types of fabrics that her friends are interested in.
She is also currently helping Elizabeth to reach out to some of their lecturers.<
Personal Story of Gift Yaro, Orphan supported by KT Textile & Dwelries
Gift is 4 year old and the youngest of four. He lost both parents when he was 2 years old.
Elizabeth wanted to help him have better life, and she now takes full responsibility for his well being.
Personal Story of Mrs. Stella Ekanem, an investor in KT Textile & Dwelries:
Mrs. Stella has a Degree in English, but later chose tailoring as her profession. She helps Elizabeth create designs for her fabrics.
Mrs. Stella also help expand Elizabeth’s business by recommending that her customers to buy fabric from her.
She also advises her on designs and textiles that may attract more customers.
