The International Internship Program is dedicated to empowering the next generation of change-makers, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and passion needed to tackle pressing real-world challenges and create meaningful change.
Leadership Initiatives (LI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that tasked outstanding high school students with developing creative solutions to the multifaceted challenges facing rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Our interns partner with project coordinators and community leaders on the ground in northern Nigeria to work together to address critical issues related to healthcare, education, and economic development. Through their innovative thinking, dedication, and collaboration with local organizations, our interns play a crucial role in bringing sustainable solutions to these underserved regions.
As we unite aspiring leaders from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and disciplines, we foster a global network of empowered individuals committed to making a positive impact. Our interns gain hands-on experience, develop cross-cultural competencies, and become catalysts for positive change.
